New Book Looks into the Internet and Movie Making

February 18, 2004--New Book Looks into the Internet and Movie Making

Mark Lanio's new book, "The Bad Guy" follows John Duncan, an actor well-known for playing the villian in most of his movies. His latest project has him playing the villian again in the most anticipated novel-adaptation to be brought to the silver-screen. Cerner studios has stretched themselves a bit and the movie must be a blockbuster for them to survive. But John discovers that Internet rumors are running rampant, causing bad publicity that begins to sink the stock price of Cerner Studios. If it continues, Cerner may be bought out by a media conglomerate that would end Cerner as they know it. John suddenly finds himself in the role of hero, even as he must continue shooting the movie as the villain.
